Goddess Maa Tripura Sundari is also known as Lalita, Shodashi, Rajarajeswari Lalita, Shree Vidhya, and Rajarajeswari.  She is believed to be one of the most important Das Mahavidhyas and as per Ancient Vedic Texts, all other Mahavidhyas converse in her Vidhya that is Shree Vidhya.The very name Shodashi indicates her being a sixteen-year-old Goddess possessing divine powers and unearthly beauty. Not only does she possess sixteen kinds of desires but also the powers of arousing the senses. She controls human being’s emotional and rational sensibilities in the three known worlds of Dharti (Earth), Aakash (sky) and Pataal (Underworld). The name Shodashi also refers to her association with sixteen supernatural powers. Her consort is Maha Kameshwar Shiva and she is considered to be the highest aspect of Goddess Adi Shakti.

The placing of the idol of Goddess Tripura Sundari, Lord Brahma and Lord Agni is followed by a prayer to all deities.
Each planetary mantra is chanted 108 times which is followed by the worship of deities in Kalash.
Chhetrapal Mandal Puja, Chausath Yogini Puja and Maa Tripur Sundari Puja are performed with the recitations of Tripura Sundari Mantra and chanting of Kavach Recitation.
The puja concludes with Yagna, Purnahuti, Aarti, offering of flowers to the deities and Bhoj to Brahmins.
